Grand Oak Retreat provides a cozy, relaxing atmosphere where you can escape everyday distractions.

 

 

Our 7,000+ square foot facility features a large work area with a picturesque lake view, relaxing wrap around porch, and a home theatre for business or pleasure.

 

Upon request, massage sessions for a half hour to an hour can be arranged through the group leader at an additional cost.

 

Facilities

Our large work area provides individual tables for up to 20 people. For quilters, irons and felt display walls are provided. Snacks and beverages are available 24 hours/day. A panoramic view of Lake Guntersville is available from inside while working, or outside while relaxing in a rocking chair.

 

Accommodations

Accommodations consist of 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, with 3-6 people per room. Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom with walk-in shower.

 

A single-person elevator is available for those who struggle with stairs when coming up for meals, movies and massages.

 

Dining

Two home-cooked meals per day will be provided with a menu varying based on the season. We cook farm fresh meat and vegetables whenever possible and cater to those with dietary restrictions for a small up charge.  Weather permitting, meals will be served on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake.

 

The half-kitchen attached to the community work area is stocked with complementary snacks and beverages – Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper and Sprite. Regular and Decaf Coffee are provided, as well as a Keurig machine available for use with your own pods.
