Located between Guntersville and Scottsboro, AL on Highway 79 between mile marker 82 and 83, Grand Oak Retreat has a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Guntersville. We are conveniently less than an hour drive from Huntsville, AL and Chattanooga, TN and only two hours from Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA.

From Huntsville:

Take Highway 72 towards Scottsboro. Just before reaching Scottsboro, turn right on Highway 79. Continue 1.7 miles and turn right on Highway 79S. Drive 6.3 miles and Grand Oak retreat is on the right between mile marker 82 and 83.

 

From Birmingham:

Take Interstate 65 North to Interstate 565 East towards Huntsville. I-565 will turn into Highway 72 driving towards Scottsboro. Just before reaching Scottsboro in approximately 32 miles, turn right on Highway 79. Continue 1.7 miles and turn right on Highway 79S. Drive 6.3 miles and Grand Oak retreat is on the right between mile marker 82 and 83.

 

From Atlanta:

Take I-75 North to Chattanooga. From Chattanooga take I-24 West to approximately 26 miles to Highway 72 West. Travel South on 72 for approximately 36 miles and turn left on Highway 79 at mile marker 133. Continue 1.7 miles and turn right on Highway 79S. Drive 6.3 miles and Grand Oak retreat is on the right between mile marker 82 and 83.

 

From Chattanooga:

Take I-24 West to approximately 26 miles to Highway 72 West. Travel South on 72 for approximately 36 miles and turn left on Highway 79 at mile marker 133. Continue 1.7 miles and turn right on Highway 79S. Drive 6.3 miles and Grand Oak retreat is on the right between mile marker 82 and 83.

 

From Nashville:

Take I-24 East Approximately 100 miles to Highway 72 West. Travel south on 72 for approximately 36 miles and turn left on Highway 79 at mile marker 133. Continue 1.7 miles and turn right on Highway 79S. Drive 6.3 miles and Grand Oak retreat is on the right between mile marker 82 and 83.
